y gran bondagero de RopeMarks, y amigo mío. Bob
es uno de los mejores atadores de toda Europa. Vive en
Amsterdam, y yo lo conocí en München (Alemania),
hace algunos años. Hice dos trabajos de bondage
con él. Un bondage muy completo sentada en el suelo,
y una suspensión extraordinaria y muy buena. Fue
un bondage de suspensión
excelente. Las cuerdas no me apretaban. Estaba muy cómoda.
Se podía soportar con mucha facilidad, y me pareció
sorprendente. Porque no me podía desatar. Y la
suspensión era 100% segura. Fue una suspensión
perfecta. |

también es un chico maravilloso, y muy simpático.
Tiene mucho sentido del humor, es muy gracioso, hace muchas
bromas y tiene respuestas muy simpáticas. Y en
su trabajo Bob es un excelente profesional. En su trabajo
Bob es serio, responsable, muy atento, muy seguro, muy
legal, y muy bueno. Trabajar con él en Alemania
fue un gran honor para mí. |

conocí a su mujer, Chantal. Es una gran modelo
de bondage, y para mí Chantal es una de los mejores
modelos de bondage en Europa, y en el mundo. Tiene un
nivel muy alto, y tiene todas las buenas cualidades de

would you define bondage?. |

| So...
Let's start with a difficult question, right? :) Take
100 people and you will get 100 different answers to this
question. In the BDSM world "doing bondage", "receiving
bondage" often includes other activities like spanking
and pain stimulation. I like to stick with the dictionary
definition of what bondage is in a BDSM context: |
| The
state or practice of being physically restrained, as by
being tied up, chained, or put in handcuffs, for sexual
gratification. |
| With
this definition I prefer to use rope or leather/rubber
restraining cuffs to do bondage. |

did you discover your taste for bondage?. |

I can say it has not been something that I discovered,
it has always been (in) me. At a very early age (around
8) I saw my first images of comic book heroins bound and
gagged and truly, and I mean _truly_, loved those images.
From there on it was all downhill, I guess, rapidly :). |

time sex :). Also at a very early age (10/11?) with a

special, it felt as falling in love, butterflies in my

grown up, became an adult and gained a whole lot of experience
about doing bondage, about human nature, about the mind
and the different ways people (want to) experience bondage.
All of this and more I use when doing bondage, but in
essence, the feelings have not changed from my very first
bondage. |

advice would you give to those who want to practice bondage?

| Bondage
has more things to take into account than you would first
imagine (physical, mental, technical), take things slow
and step by step, don't immediately dive into the advanced
stuff. As the one doing the rigging, set aside your ego
and learn to use the rope as an extension of yourself
and "feel" your partners wants, needs and state of mind.
As the one on the receiving end of the rope learn to be
in bondage, learn the responses and limitations of your
body, speak about how you feel, what you like, dislike,
what feels good. Communicate. |

do you assess the bondage today? Are there any changes
since your beginnings?. |

| Ohw
yeah! Loads! :) My focus with doing bondage is the Japanese
style, kinbaku (sometimes shibari) and I've really studied
this form of bondage (theoretically and practically).
The technical aspect, the safety aspect, the cultural
aspect but also the aspect from the person on the receiving
end of the ropes. In the end I just do my own style of
bondage, RopeMarks style, but it is heavily influenced
by kinbaku. |

has been your funniest situation you've lived in bondage?.

| We,
Chantal and me, live together with a couple of cats. It
has happended (on multiple occasions) that Chantal was
tied up or suspended and the cats where playing with the
ropes that still hung from her body, close to the floor.
It's a weird situation, funny, but not good for the sexual
mood :). |

in the past that I hooked up with a new girl(friend) and
after talking about bondage she said yes and allowed me
to tie her up. That always makes the butterflies in my
stomach go wild. This peeked when I met Chantal and found
out she really loved bondage and wanted it everytime,
all the time. |

am a little picky with who I engage in bondage, so I've
not had a really bad experience. Generally I know the
person at least a little before I decide to do bondage.
But the experiences I enjoyed least are those where the
girl is not communicating or does not enjoy bondage for
personal reasons but only professional reasons (portfolio,
our name, etc.). |

have a preferred style, Kinbaku. Bondage is not something
that you do alone. Usually I have a very good Idea of
what I want to do somebody but in the end it is what _we_
want to do. Bondage is not simply applying some rope to
a body, each body is different, needs a different approach
and looks best in a bondage fit for that body (and mind). |

Chantal I never say no :) But to other I say "no" quite
a lot. For me, doing bondage is physically and mentally
tiring (in a good way). So the person I do bondage with
must "earn" it, for me to put out like I do. There must
be something I can get out of it too. There must be a
good reason to do the bondage, there must be a connection
(whatever it is at that moment). |

do not have knowledge about art, but generally I enjoy
surreal, bizarre and dream-like artworks :) Now, art in
bondage: I truly believe that bondage can be done artistically
and I truly believe that people see certain bondages as
art. I've had my work labelled "Art" more than often.
But in the end, sticking to the dictionary definition
of bondage, it is all about sex and personal sexual gratification.
In my experience people use the word "art", "artistic"
and seriously mean it but there's always the underlying
sensation that there's more, and that's the erotic and
sexual part. |

born and raised in Amsterdam, have lived there all my
live. I love Amsterdam. I've travelled to a lot of countries
and cities worldwide if I had to choose another city it
would probably be Tokyo (it's insane, I love it!). |

happen anymore. Just like my taste in art I enjoy bizarre
and fantastic stories. |
